Communication Towers / Mast

We have erected the autonomous vehicle communication towers across the Bowen Basin. These range from guyed mast, Hydraulic guyed mast, and free-standing towers. We specialise in both Mast and Tower structures.

A Mast is supported by stays or guy wires, whilst a Tower is a self-supporting or cantilevered structure.

A Mast can be a ground-based or roof-top structure which supports Radio Frequency equipment at a height required to receive and send communications.

A Mast, whilst tending to be more economical to construct, requires sufficient surrounding area to accommodation the guy wires, and as such Free-Standing Towers are more commonly used in urban areas where a reduced footprint is required.

AUTONOMOUS TOWERS/MAST

With a large number of Mast and Towers still required across various mine sites in the coming years to facilitate the deployment of autonomous mining equipment, we as a company have invested in specialist tooling, equipment and installers to ensure we remain the benchmark in this field.

Tower and Mast Maintenance

In addition to our commercial clientele, we currently have scheduled maintenance agreements across 17 sites in Queensland.

Depending on specific requirements, during our annual, 6 monthly or 3 monthly visits we undertake maintenance ranging from guy wire inspections, guy wire re-tensioning to specifications, to structural audits and certifications.

We provide an extensive report on the status of the tower and related infrastructure, including all necessary actionable items pertaining to hazards identified and the maintenance required to ensure a systematic asset management approach to the structure.
